Opening the Parents’ corner

In the library, tap the “Parents” button at the top right. A parental gate then asks you to tap three numbers, written out in words, in order. The numbers change every time.

Restoring a purchase

In the Parents’ corner, on the “The whole book” card, tap “Restore my purchases”. Use the same Apple or Google account as for the purchase. A purchase made on iPhone or iPad does not open on Android, and the other way round.

Papo fell asleep

That is the timer. In the Parents’ corner, “Papo falls asleep after” offers 10, 20 or 30 minutes, or no limit. Only time spent in the app counts.

To wake Papo up, tap the yellow moon at the bottom right, then pass the parental gate. If the app is closed and reopened within half an hour, Papo is still asleep.

The family’s voice

In the Parents’ corner, hold the microphone button next to a picture and say its name (4 seconds at most). Your voice replaces Papo’s for that picture, in every language, as long as “Use the family’s voice” is on. “Listen” plays the recording back, “Delete” erases it.

Sound

In the Parents’ corner, the “Sounds” section sets the music, the voice and the animal sounds. On the child’s side, the music note turns the music off or on. Check the device volume too.

Erasing data

Everything stays on the device. For the progress: “Reset progress”, in the “Progress” section of the Parents’ corner. Stickers, ladybugs and stars are erased; settings and recordings are kept. For a recording: “Delete” next to the picture. To erase everything, delete the app.
